How does the 2-week paid trial work?
We scope a real, bounded deliverable together — typically a feature, a security review, or a sprint. You pay a fixed fee for the 2 weeks, the engineer works your hours, and you evaluate quality first-hand before any long-term commitment. If it's not right, you walk away. No contractual lock-in at that stage.
How do you handle GDPR and data-protection compliance?
All engagements include Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for EU/UK cross-border data transfers, data-processing agreements where required, and contractual obligations covering encryption in transit and at rest. We align to ISO 27001 controls and can provide our security whitepaper for your DPO or legal team on request.
What timezone does your team work in? Is there really real-time overlap?
Yes — Egypt (EET, UTC+2/UTC+3 in summer) gives 95%+ overlap with a standard UK working day and strong overlap with Central European time. Our engineers work 9am–6pm EET by default, which aligns almost perfectly with UK hours. There is no 12–24 hour async lag as with South Asian or South-East Asian outsourcing.
What engagement models do you offer?
The primary model is a dedicated engineer on a monthly retainer — one engineer, one contract, one invoice, scaled to your team. For cybersecurity we offer project-based engagements (pentest, AppSec review) and monthly retainers (vCISO, ongoing GRC advisory). Squad models (multiple engineers) are available once a single-engineer engagement is established.
How quickly can we get started?
Typically 1–2 weeks from the discovery call to an engineer starting. We hold a small ready-to-deploy bench so we are not starting a search from scratch. The 2-week trial period begins once we agree scope and you sign an NDA + trial agreement. The full MSA follows if both sides want to proceed.
Who do we actually work with day-to-day?
Directly with your dedicated engineer and, for any delivery or strategic questions, directly with our practitioner founders. We do not operate an account management layer — you always have a direct line to the engineers and to the people who built OutIn.
